WHY am I surprised about this???

I don't listen to anything Fox, but Franken had OReilly tapes on his show.

OReilly lies on purpose, in order to confuse the listeners who don't know any better about the real facts. This is absolutely the lowest kind of journalism. He KNOWS the truth of what happened and Lies anyway in order to keep certain listeners ignorant and confused, probably on orders from Rove.

2. I know this guy is a phony, liar, etc.,but why does he have such a

high rated show. Maybe people have become so jaded(?) that they don't care about veracity as long as they are entertained by some first class jerk. I don't know why he is not held accountable for the string of obvious lies, distortions and unfounded attacks he makes on a daily basis.

viewers a day. Cities have local broadcasts that get the same or more.

the freepers think that because a great deal of us enjoy The Daily Show and consider that it is a type of news source, that we are nuts and out of touch with reality. Jon Stewart makes fun of the actual news.
Sooo....what does that make them by listening to obviously slanted and twisted news stories? O'Lielly makes news out of nothing.
Too bad they are too stupid to see who is REALLY out of touch with reality.
