and how they feel about their citizens when they do not protect them by providing health care to EVERYONE?

We are the ones who elect them. They take office saying they will act in our best interest. They preach that we are the nation that all other nations hold up as a standard. What do we say to the world when we will not even protect our own?

When * says that he will take care of his own, he is only talking about his inner circle and no one else.

What has become of our society when the sick are cast off because they can not pay? What kind of a great society is that? If we are only as strong as our weakest link, we are in trouble. Our weakest links are dying and even a blind man could see we are in need of a serious overhaul.

I love my country. My country is not a place where people die because they can afford health care. My country is not a place where we put a dollar sign on human life. My country is a place where people are valued and helped when they can not help themselves.

I need a passport, I believe I have woken up in someone else's country.
