3. An experiment worth keeping up with

I admire them for giving it a go. I'll wager they run out of steam
before not too long. DU has more spice due to the population of writers
and the complexity that engenders. As well, since the names are not
"famous", it's less about marketing the person with the point of view,
and more about what they actually wrote.

Without the population, the blog will become monotonic, and lack the
differentiation in views that keeps such things interesting. I see
she's shooting more against traditional news media, to refute them
online.. and obviously is selling the cult of celebrity as well. This
is what i'm curious about. Does the cult of celibrity make an
internet writer better? Do a group of celebritys have something that
DU does not?

All in all, i hope its a great success, as every person-hour of media
attention that goes online, is person-hours not watching MSM... and
online, they can't help but discover more truth.
