Now we have raised most of the money and thanks to all that have donated. Thanks for all of your prayers and good wishes and positive energies and love.

BUT, we haven’t raised all that is needed. The total so far is just over $32,000. We need to raise at least $50,000.00. Andy’s surgery is Tuesday, May 10. This weekend, even though he is sick, he is participating in a conference in Ohio on of all things, election reform. He is tirelessly working for our democracy, he is still trying to make a difference. Let’s help him, please let’s raise all the money he needs.

Straight Story seems to want to bring everyone down and I just don't think that is the way to go. Even if you lost your Mom this last year remember all the good, all the love and know that she is with you now wherever you are. Your mom will always be with you. Find some joy.

And for sure, our moms are our biggest one.

Anniversaries are very hard on some folks, maybe everybody, now and then. I know I have a calendar up with a weeklong reminder before every holiday because my partner gets very triggered by holidays. Took me a while to understand that.

Thank you, DU Moms, for fostering our future. There's no bigger job.
