1. The war itself is the far greater crime

and for that I blame the policymakers in Washington.

I have never served in the military, much less been in combat. I was not there, and cannot begin to imagine what that scared kid must have had on his mind when he pulled the trigger. I will reserve judgement in this case.

The greatest tragedy is that this Marine was even sent to Iraq in the first place on false pretenses and outright lies by this Administration.

2. Only one Iraqi came out of that mosque alive.

I don't remember which channel I heard it on, but that soldier didn't just kill one wounded guy under a blanket. Three others were killed at the same time, all lying wounded.

And that soldier was NOT the only one who did the killing.
