I am reading an article in UTNE
about asexuality. An organization exists for people whom are not straight or gay but rather have no sexual attraction to others at all. It caught my attention because I have know 3 people whom certainly fit this catagory. They have not had a relation/attraction to another for (decades) that I have known them. They never discuss attraction, never date and it seems quit 'normal' to them.

Do you know anyone like this?

2. Yeah, I've met a few over the years
I've always thought of them as neuters. They just don't have a whole lot of sexual energy. I think the constant soap opera others enact around them, the wanting, the dating, the affairs, the emotions, all that goes past them. They probably wonder why we get worked up! They do seem to have calmer lives!

3. Yes, I do -- he became a Catholic priest
And I'm certainly not knocking priests, here, either. I had a good friend in high school who was just not into girls. Or boys. Or sex at all. The last I saw of him, he had entered seminary to become a Catholic priest.

I always had a sliver of doubt: was it God's calling, or was he just asexual and didn't know where to fit in?
