3. My favorite part is when he went off on GM for marketing fuck-you mobiles.
He said that GM's Hummers, Escalades, and Suburbans were all the rage. Until it cost $100 to fill one up. No one's dick is THAT small.

He said GM is stupid...they passed on the hybrid patent because it made no economic sense. Now Japan has the patent and GM lost 1 billion in the last quarter. Does that make economic sense.

He talked about how cigarettes are overtaxed and gas is under taxed. He said you can't smoke in a bar, but you can drive through a restaurant?

He said he thought gas was UNDERPRICED. He laughed about people drinking $4 latte's complaining about the price of gas.

He was on a roll...it was a tirade...he went on for five minutes about it.

6. That's an excellent recap
That's the way I heard it.

And RFK Jr. was a superb lead.

5. Yep. just finished watching...
His tirade was great. Look for it in Salon.com tomorrow - they may post it.

And Joe Scarborough?? Yep. Still a prick. I can't believe he likened the objection to John Bolton, as an over reaction to Bolton slamming a phone down and muttering an angry word. Silly overreacting Liberals!! He said that the same thing will probably come up when Hillary Clinton runs for President in 3 years and the Repubs will paint her as a temperamental hot head because she apparently threw a lamp at Bill when she found out about Monica (as if the right wasn't already painting her as a temperamental shrew... please).

Question to Scarborough... What color is the sky in your world?? As I remember, your first marriage busted up because you were screwing around on your wife. How did she take it when she found out about your mistress?? More importantly, how did your mistress take it?? It's amazing how you seem to forget the reason why you're not "Congressman Joe" anymore.

7. Of course, Bill didn't mention that in 2002 Toyota announced that
they were stopping production of the Prius in 2003 because they had around 20% over capacity. (see here: http://www.detnews.com/2002/autosinsider/0209/27/autos-598972.htm). The way Bill tells it, GM coulda had the patent but passed on it out of corporate greed. Maybe true, but until about a year ago, Toyota's gamble wasn't exactly playing out for them. Nobody wanted hybrids.

BTW - the first patent was issued for a hybrid car in 1905 to an American. A few of them were built by 1912, but once octane standards started improving they lost ground to the gas engine.

held his own tonight...for a change...very satisfying, besides the Simpson-Scarborough bullshit.

Jane Fonda, JFK Jr., were exceptional, Dowd, not too bad, overall a pleasure to watch...

The Freepers, like Limbaugh, etc., must be dying to put a stop to HBO, somehow...
