Like many here, I have not been at all happy with the Dems in general (understatement!)
But yesterday they demonstrated how effective they can be when they stand up together and refuse to roll over.
I think it important that we let them know we saw what they did and we wholeheartedly approve!

Please stand for competent and *appropriate* presidential appointees.

There is a difference between being able to perform a job and being able to perform that job the way it NEEDS to be performed. We need an ambassador to the U.N. who will avoid habitual coercion, someone who is not infected by the stress of the work environment, a person who will be strong AND open enough to discover the potentials inherent in whatever situation, with whomever, for whatever issues. It is possible that Bolton will loose potential solutions before he (or we) even discovers what they are. At our grassroots level those lost opportunities translate into blood.
