I have NEVER been more glad I abandoned the Catholic church than today

I'm a liberal Protestant. I renounced the church almost immediately after my confirmation and even wrote them requesting an excommunication. I've never had any doubt in my mind I made the right choice, and this solidifies it. All liberals should write requesting excommuncations now.

All liberals should have left the Democratic Party when it swung rightward under the DLC. You can be liberal and a Catholic. Change from within.

2. Me too. I left the Catholic Church in 1990.

I, a single and cheerfully childfree woman, could not longer stomach the male supremacy and misogyny of the Catholic Church. I'm pursuing a Celtic Wiccan Pagan path now.
