Why is * still campaigning for Soc Sec reform?
Okay, I know it's really Soc Sec phase out. But his poll numbers collapse the more he is out there. The more "town meetings" he has, the fewer people agree with him. The odds of anything he wants happening are diminishing daily.
So why does he keep going? Does he think that since he was able to steamroll us on tax cuts and the Iraq war, he can do it again? Does he really think he has a mandate from a stolen election?
I don't really know the answer, so I'm curious on others thoughts on this. He's starting to look a bit pathetic (not that that's a bad thing, but you would think that at least the "boy genius" would have a clue.)

and he's a spoiled brat who is, for the first time, being told "no." He's trying to get people to rally behind him but don't fuck with people's SS. For once in his life his name isn't helping him.

4. He doesn't accept the word NO...ever!
His handlers keep any dissenters out of his rallies, the Pub controlled congress ALWAYS supports his ideas, and he always got everything he ever wanted in life...even before going into Gov't. He's positive that people just don't understand his message this time, because they never tell him no!

5. I think it's all one big distraction so no one
even realizes what the hell else is going on, like the economy in the toilet, no healthcare issues being discussed, and that tiresome war he started with no end in sight.

6. Okay, yes...
He is an clueless idiot. But why hasn't reichmarshal Rove or the political gestapo seen what's happening?
I feel that part of it is this takes all the spotlight while the real damage is done on all the little things in Congress and by Exec. decisions.
The bankruptcy bill, the environment, the whores being nominated and placed in office.
And the amount of effort the Dems must put into stopping him on SS, takes away from other issues.

9. I completely agree with your assessment and would add that *
is a lame duck and they don't give a flying f**k what his poll numbers mean since the corporate controlled msm won't report any way and they also have demonstrated a proclivity for manipulating numbers (see fraWd 2004).

There will be an attempt to vote on SS "reform" and it will be a compromise which dinos will support. I wish I didn't believe this but they do not represent the peoples will but the corporate will.

11. I've said it before - it's not about the soc.sec., that's the pretext for
the $2 trillion skim (in the form of "conversion costs").
