Let's arm ourselves with the facts folks. The spinning and lying by the right continued this afternoon (evening on the east coast) on CNN's CrossFire as Robert Novak was unchallenged in his lies regarding what the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled with respect to punch card voting. The race-baiting troglodytes of the right wing wrapped themselves in Mexican immigrants and poor black children to claim that the Ninth Circuit had insulted the intelligence of these voters by saying they were too stupid to work a punch card ballot. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH, but what's new from the right? The Court did say that the nature of the paper stock, the nature of the pre-punched chads not being properly manufactured, the known fact that card readers frequently grab two cards at a time voiding both ballots, the known fact that a chad stuck in one counting machine actually resulted in failing to count an entire precinct in a California city are what drove their opinion, not user-error. None of these factors are things that the voter is responsible for, but of course Bob Novak and his ilk immediately jump to the conclusion that it's pathetic uneducated minorities that the Court is talking about ... no, it's pathetic uneducated talking heads like Novak that they're protecting the electorate from.
Someone needs to tell Bob Novak to stick to revealing the identities of our covert intelligence agents for the White House instead of trying to think for himself! That pathetic traitor has run out of time and it's about time we write CNN and tell them to fire that criminal!
