This is nuts...
In Contempt of Courts
by MAX BLUMENTHAL

Washington

Michael Schwartz must have thought I was just another attendee of the "Confronting the Judicial War on Faith" conference. I approached the chief of staff of Oklahoma's GOP Senator Tom Coburn outside the conference in downtown Washington last Thursday afternoon after he spoke there. Before I could introduce myself, he turned to me and another observer with a crooked smile and exclaimed, "I'm a radical! I'm a real extremist. I don't want to impeach judges. I want to impale them!"

1. Isn't that considered "incitement to riot and commit violent acts"...
...or sedition?

sedition
noun

1. Public speech, writing or action encouraging public disorder, especially rebellion against the government.

Thesaurus: revolt, mutiny, defiance, insurrection, subversion, treason, tumult, agitation.

4. The right wing is writing their own ticket to hell via fast lane.
Isn't he being a little hypocritical and a lot dangerous here?

<snip>As Michael Schwartz remarked during a panel discussion, "The Supreme Court says we have the right to kill babies and the right to commit buggery. They say the people have no right to express themselves, that the people have no right to make laws. Until we have a court that reflects a majority," Schwartz continued, his voice rising steadily, "it is a sick and sad joke that we have a Constitution here."<snip>

5. Who let the creeps out?
What in hell is the MATTER with these people? Just supports my theory that conservatism, as presented today is some sort of cult/mass hysterical mental illness. Or something. I'm going to breakfast with my rw Dad, and some of his buddies, most of whom, fortunetly are good democrats. This will be a topic of discussion.

9. I brought this up at the dinner table recently
I think the generation of pathological psychology text books that come out in 20 years or so will have conservatism listed along with bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, paranoia, and other pathologies of the psyche.

10. It doesn't matter, it goes to Tom Coburn
If Coburn does not immediately fire the bastard, Coburn supports him. There is no middle ground here.

11. The GOP is currently having a problem
with some of their people getting carried away with their power and actually speaking the truth about what their agenda is. They should have it under control before long.
