What is the Sound of Norquist In The Bathroom Drowning The Government

According to Bush, the next thing you hear might well be that sound. In case all of you do not get it, yesterday, Bush as much as said, the government is failed. It, the government, can no longer honor its debts…..it is a dead fish upon the beach shinning brightly in the moonlight, it a parrot gone to heavenly choir.

I wonder how long we the people will be ask to continue to support a cadaver, a cadaver most foully murder by the right wing under the tutelage of Grover Norquist. At some point we must take them, Grover, George and Dick at their words, the government is defunct and we can discard it.

Wonder what comes next?

6. Actually, anarchy might be an apt description
Not in the immediate future, but in the next 20 years I would bet on it if I were a betting person.

Honest.

4. A Question...
If the Fed Chairman isn't there to hear it, does it make a sound?

5. Feudalism.
Many anthropologists believe feudalism is the default way non-nomadic people tend to self-organize.

A strong local leader emerges to stave off the chaos and bandits. People support him with tithes and military service. The scene gets repeated everywhere. Eventually, these warlords start getting strong enough to compete with each other and hold minor wars.

Someday, an uber-warlord will unite a region and declare himself king, or emporer, or shogun, or whatever. He gets filthy rich from the massive pyramid scheme built beneath him.

Until somebody else comes along and deposes him.

Or the kingdom breaks apart into independent regions again.
