1. All they did was postpone it for a few months, right?
It's not like they chose the winner or anything.

3. Yes it's being postponed
But Issa was just on grumbling and bitching about the delay.

He says if Davis was elected last year using punch cards, why can't they use punch cards for the recall (certain precints).

8. They found some Repuke dumb enough to put up his own money
to hire a bunch of people to stand around outside supermarkets and such and collect signatures. Of course, once said signatures were collected the guy who paid for them was unceremoniously dumped. Anyway, the point being that the recall is happening because the Repukes bought and paid for it. Period.

2. Read the CNN Poll!
The daily question is "Would you want an election you were going to vote in to be delayed because of punch-card polling machines?" This, of course, demeans the court decision. THAT was based on the fact that, for one of several reasons, the machines to be used to vote on WERE DECLARED TO BE DEFECTIVE!!!

Ah, I love the smell of media whore in the morning!

6. Declared defective but are they really?
I've used the same kind of voting machine in every election starting with the 1976 Democratic national primary and never had a problem with the punch-card system in use in San Diego County. The machines have always been well maintained and have worked perfectly. Yes, I have always checked my chads (just like the instructions advise).

San Diego County uses the Votomatic system.

5. Dejavu
Will we see the Florida fracus all over again. I'm sure the wizard of oz is behind the scenes(whitehouse) pulling stings. Since the Supreme court has nothing to do but the bidding of the repugs they will find the time for an emergency session to put those democrats in their place.

9. That is amusing.
So his lovefest was indeed overshadowed. The most-quoted segment of the show alluded to a partial acknowledgement by Maria Shriver that Arnie is a cheater-cheater-pumpkin-eater... not exactly pastel shades of womanly appeal.
