Just saw the AARP commercial-LOVe it!!!!!!
It was simple and straight to the point. If there is something wrong with the kitchen sink, you don't tear down the house.

Magnificent!!!!

3. Uncomplicated
and straight to the point. We are always being told that this party need to be more plain-speaking. It can't get any plainer than that.

We can definitely take a lesson from that commercial.

7. I wonder why the AARP fell for the Medicare scam to begin with
They should have known who they were dealing with long before Medicare was touched by Bush and Co. and the corporatists on the Hill.

8. Fantastic commercial!! No more SS, no more SS problems.
If you haven't seen it, it has great scenes of a house being completely demolished following diagnosis of a minor plumbing problem. No more house, no more plumbing problem. It ties into our anxieties about home repairs and remodeling, among other things.

I am about to rejoin AARP (www.aarp.org). I joined when I became eligible because of their great discounts. I found out that the discounts weren't that great and that they had many positions I did not agree with. But they're on the right side on SS, which trumps most other issues they are involved with as far as I am concerned.
