Interesting.... Judge Pryor voted against "saving" Terri....
the 11th Circuit Court, in their denial of the Schindler's petition to have their case heard by the entire court, voted 10-2 against them.

William Pryor, the judge installed by Bush using a recess appointment after the Dems blocked him, sided with the majority. I was quite surprised. Will the Freepers now call him a liberal activist judge?

3. Why stick your head up, and risk further isolation?
He's trying to work and play well with others, as their opinion as to his ability has weight in the back halls of power. That recess appointment is not permanent, it expires, and he will have to go to the well again if he wants to drink permanently from the judicial cup. By displaying this reasonableness in his decision making process, he might make his next attempt a bit less contentious.

That Japanese expression about the nail that sticks up gets hammered down applies in this case. Smart move on his part. And his pal W probably knew where he was going before he ever set pen to paper.
