But I agree with you that Entertainment Tonight should not put her own without an opposing view -- they certainly wouldn't put Sean Penn or Susan Sarandon on to say something political without a rebuttal of some sort.

And of course, the OP has a right to contact Albertson's and complain that they use someone they don't agree with politically as a spokesperson, although personally I believe that is an overreaction.

BTW, ET is a syndicated show, not always on CBS. I don't know who owns it.

to me, it seems more legitimate to contact ET than Albertson's. Albertson's hired an actress to do their commercials because of her television show. Outside of work, she's entitled to her opinions.

ET is an infotainment show that is supposed to present news of some sort, even if it is entertaiment oriented. Doing a story on what an actress thinks of a political situation is certainly within the scope of what they do, but even "news lite" ought to pretend to be somewhat unbiased.
