You're unborn or you're brain dead? We love you and care about you deeply.

You're mentally retarded and maybe killed someone? Fry you bastid! It's the rule of law.

Your husband wants to give you a merciful death? We'll overturn the Constitution to keep you alive.

You're starving becauze there are no more jobs in your town? Get a job you lazy bum!

You're starving because you're being allow to die naturally by physicians? We have to pass a law to stop this outrage!

4. Yes he did
The bodies are piling up all around the world. Where is the 'compassionate conservatism' for them?

5. Unfortuneately, this isn't just a Republican thing
This concept is behind all that Missing White Girl (r) coverage, at the expense of coverage of war casualties and the like.

6. hypocrisy
Can people not see the illogical thinking here? Look at the time, words, and money spent on this 1 case. I've completely avoided anything to do with it because it makes me feel like a dumbass if I jump on the bandwagon and even discuss it. I also think it's a red herring.

7. I know how you feel
I tried avoiding this whole subject myself, because it started out as one of those situations of the media and opportunistic politicians looking for a new reality show.

But the behavior of the last few days has made it a classic illustratioin of what is wrong with this country under the thumb of the hard right wing and media stupidity.

Jeeze, think of what would happen if they ever focused on a case where someone was dying because they can't afford health care. That happens all over the country every day, but it is totally ignored.

8. healthcare
I don't think they would ever do a story like that because unaffordable healthcare is the the 800lb. gorilla. I know many people without hc, and most make over 50k a year. this is not a poor peoples problem.

11. Time to Strike....................

Terri Schiavo's law.

Dems can also capitalize on this debacle.

Since the reps. believe that all life is sacred, propose the Terri Schiavo Law :

Universal Healthcare for all Americans.

Tell them to Put their money where their mouth is
Or is it only white, straight, wealthy people who are sacred? Time to show and prove who republicans really are and who they cater too............

Whoever is detected in a shameful fraud is ever after not believed even if they speak the truth......phaedrus~

12. Bush met with Wolfowitz before the invasion
Stupidhead was fretting about negative coverage when the bodies started piling up in Iraq. He said to Wolfowitz, "It's not that I care about live Iraqis turning into dead Iraqis, but I know that the media might cover it, and that could be bad for my polling numbers."

Wolfowitz calmed his boss and said, "Don't worry. The media will barely notice all the death and destruction we're about to visit on Iraq, and I can prove it to you."

Sniffing, Stupidhead said, "You can?" Wolfowitz nodded and snapped his fingers. Brit Hume instantly materialized, wearing a Fox News blazer and his best concerned look.

Wolfowitz turned to Hume and said, "We're about to invade Iraq. We're going to destroy its infrastructure, overthrow its government, appropriate its oil for ourself, write huge no-bid contracts to the president's business cronies, plunge our country into irretrievable debt, and kill 100,000 Iraqi citizens . . ." Hume began scribbling madly in his official reporter's notepad when Wolfowitz concluded, ". . . and one beautiful blonde."

Hume stopped writing and said, "A beautiful blonde? What's her name? Where is she from? Was she involved with Russell Crowe?"

Wolfowitz turned away from Hume and smiled at the president, who grinned back.
