As long as the News programs mention Supreme Court in Schaivo case
The public will not get behind the few Republicans who are jumping on the bandwagon. So far every time I have heard it come up on the radio they have mentioned that the Supreme Court would not touch it. I think the public realizes that if the case was on shaky ground the Supreme Court would hear the case. They can't blame it on Democrats because the Judge is a Republican and a Southern Baptist. With polls showing the public is behind the husband it's simply a looser issue for Republicans.

1. BUT
the public also fails to realize that if Bush appoints his FAR RIGHT judges on the bench, like the Scalia types, the Supreme Court WOULD interfere in the rights of families to decide for themselves. It is unfortunate that even though the majority of Americans would not want that, they still cannot connect the dots in the their minds.

2. Jeb Bush, the governor of Florida has made this case the cornerstone
...of his moral political commitment and has exploited this poor woman, Terri Schaivo and her family's grief, sorrow, guilt and bitterness for his own as well as certain moralistic political groups and representatives for their own corrupt advancement.

3. I'm thinking that way too.
Things like this along with the whole SS fiasco may help us to unmask the true intent of this WH and their backers. The supoiena by DeLay is the ultimate in showing the public what they will do, it's inhumane. The dems have a huge opening here but it seems like they are too scared to speak up.
