Morning Edition, February 9, 2005 · The growing worldwide competition for oil could soon get in the way of President Bush's goal of promoting democracy abroad: Some of the biggest oil suppliers have governments that fall far short of democratic standards.

But the US democracy "cry" is a trojan horse for the US war for Oil.

The WH new about peak oil coming into office ... you can query on Cheney comments and previous WH behavior.

Peak Oil has not taken the US by storm.... we are "parked over the 2nd largest oil reserves" as we speak...connect the dots.
