Poll question: Let's do this correctly this time: Clark/Dean or Dean Clark?
Edited on Fri Sep-12-03 01:14 PM by tom_paine
Let's just consider this a metaphysical question outside the bounds of reality. The race comes down to these two and each expresses a willingness to be VP for the eventual nominee.

1. Why bother with these posts?
Seriously, we have at the moment a huge numerical advantage and can swamp any poll. What's the point? To re-iterate that Clark would be a GOOD VP CANDIDATE?
I suppose that is a worthy enough goal..........

7. but he already said he doesn't want to be VP--for now
http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/09/12/elec04.prez.clark/index.html

Former NATO commander Wesley Clark said Friday he will make a decision "sometime pretty soon" about whether he'll seek the Democratic nomination for president.

He also ruled out -- for now -- any possible run as a vice presidential candidate.

9. Why bother with your response?

If you are so deadly certain of the outcome? Surely if the numerical advantage is as vast as you say it is, you don't need to trouble yourself with participating. Obviously it is just upsetting you so perhaps you should take a doctors advice and just avoid the stress.

Many of us are interested in the ebbs and flows of all of the various campaigns, declared or not. We'll continue to watch the dance and you can move on to matters which interest you more.

2. Would prefer Dean/Clark (for debate fireworks), but
if Clark runs, it'll probably be Clark/Dean.

3. OKits just for fun and games...
Had to go Dean/Clark mostly on the grounds that Dean has been elected before and that the veep's job is to a-deliver some votes (I guess Clark might bring Ark or sway a few people with the military career) and shore up a perceived weakness (see Chaney to Bush).

I still don't know if I believe that Clark can deliver the things that its believed that he can, but thats my two cents on this Friday Fun poll.
