Question about all the bush-loving bankers in this country.
I have a friend who works in the loan dept. of a regional bank. He told me that the loan business was down 40% from a year ago, which was down 40% from the previous year. This is all due to the economy. If it weren't for first-time home buyer loans, business would be almost nil. This economy is directly affecting bankers where they'd feel it the most, in their loan business. And yet bankers as a group are overwhelmingly bushbots. What gives?

1. Denial.
An urge that is programmed into us, since we were fodder for big, nasty predators. It's a survival thing, you see.

5. What scares me is that these people
control the money supply in this country. Plus being enablers for bush is something I can never forgive them for. I just wish there was another system in this country for us the little people. I don't know how conservative credit unions are as a whole.

2. You can tell a bushbot...
by the dollar signs in his eyes, vacant gaze, and no common sense, morals, or ethics. Profess to follow Jesus, but only follow the money trail.

3. Mergers
There are about 6 megabanks in this country, and they're swallowing up regional banks as quickly as they can. The rush toward banking monopoly will continue without threat of antitrust legislation enforcement from this administration.

Also, those consumer loans are generally more trouble for a McBank than they are worth, although they were the life blood of a regional bank. The megabanks concentrate on corporate business, not consumer business, and the consumer is in the process of being eliminated from the banking system, whether or not he realizes it yet.

4. Their desire to watch people being killed overrides everything...
Like all bush supporters, they enjoy watching people being killed. Bush likes to kill people, so they support him.
