... if the vote was 74-25, and there are 55 `pugs in the Senate, then at least 19 Dems voted for it.... *sigh*

Anger will come

What happens when they have absolutely NOTHING left to loose?

Edited on Thu Mar-10-05 07:08 PM by nadinbrzezinski
once it reaches 70% you will have riots... (it is about 62% right now), once it reaches 90+, you have revolutions

These pukes (and the demos who voted with them) just planted the seeds of their own destruction and as usual it will take the darn liberals to rescue them... AGAIN

1900 Harding
1028 Hoover

Think of THEIR policies

1950s to a point Ike, one reason for the riots in the 1960s is that the war on povrty to counter this was not fast enough to counter the effects of the "family values era of the 1950s)

There is this chance that some day we will not be able to.... and then you will have a nasty HOT civil war, or a revolution

33. You are over dramatizing the political will of gun owners.....

Those who believe that they have something to gain by owning guns for the sake of self-preservation....aren't going to bat one eye in terms of what's going on in the real world....in fact...most of them want to be removed from the real world.

Most gun owners (like my dad and plenty other responsible gun owners) have no political will at all regarding guns. There are some heavy duty manipulative politics being exploited by the PUKES, USING gun owners for their benefit....but the actual gun owners are removed from constructive politics and the REAL world as one can get.

FACT - ANYONE WHO VOTES UNDER THE DELUSION THAT THEIR VOTE HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH PRESERVING THEIR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS IS LIVING UNDER A ROCK.

Conclusion

There is no political will behind gun owners. The pukes have simply figured out that they can be politically manipulated by scarying them with "liberals want to take away your guns".

The issue of gun ownership, like abortion, is a wonderful NON ISSUE that has been created by the PUKES to distract us from what is really going on.

37. Not all gun owners are that way
Edited on Thu Mar-10-05 08:23 PM by FreedomAngel82
My grandfather owns a shot gun and a little one (whatever they're called) but he hardly uses them anymore. When he was younger he'd go hunting and stuff. He and my grandmother were angry at Bush and, in my grandmother's words, said "we have to kick Bush out." They're as Christian and republican as you can get (my grandfather is an Elder at his church and used to teach a Sunday school class). I was rather surprised personally. My grandfather was also in the navy when he was younger. I don't think he ever saw combat though. I've heard his stories of being on the ship and seen pictures but never war stories.

46. WHAT?
They aren't WHAT way?

You've basically made my point.
Owning a gun is a very basic right that the democrats have not messed with.

It is only because of it being exploited as an issue by the PUKES that anyone has their underwear in a knot.

Your dad, like mine...and millions of others....has NO freekin political will to change politics because of ANYTHING to do with gun ownership.

That was my point...and I think you concur.

6. This reminds me of a conversation I had with a freeper relative recently
Him: "We are having a really tough time. We might have to declare bankruptcy."
Me: "There's about to be a law that will keep you from being able to declare bankruptcy"
Him: "You mean people won't be able to declare bankruptcy if they can't pay their bills?"
Me: "That's right. Bankruptcy will be for businesses, not for people."
Him: "That's a good law. People need to be more responsible with their finances."

He didn't just vote for them, he actively campaigned for them, so he deserves what he gets.

Edited on Thu Mar-10-05 07:04 PM by Greylyn58
how much the crime rate increases over the coming months as this bill takes effect. With the state of the country now, it will be just a matter of time. When you can't find a job, can't buy food, can't pay your bills...it will happen. Not looking forward to it.

When people get hungry enough, or tired enough, or angry enough...we might start to see some changes. But truthfully I'm not gonna hold my breath on it.

28. You all realize that the Dem's tried to get this passed during the
Clinton administration right? I heard Reid, I think, say that that bill had gone round several times during the Clinton years and the PUKES voted it down. Now that the PUKES are in charge the Dem's played the good guys, trying to amend it and the PUKES voted all their amendments down! I get the feeling the Dem's that voted for this were told they would only get their amendments if they passed the bill, but why were they trying to get it passed 8 years ago?

I do think there needs to be some reform on bankruptcy laws, but the reform needs to made for all these bigwigs who plan for a regular 5-10 year bankruptcy after going on a giant spending spree. Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy how many times?

BTW, I have a whole lot of neighbors who have worked real hard to make it look as if they are living the high life with their big houses and fancy cars and boats and other toys that are going to be pretty damn pissed off that their fearless leader let this pass once they figure out they are so overextended they have no choice but to try and file.

I am talking about a bunch of "keeping up with the Joneses" Evangelical Christian suburbanites! I believe bushitler just hit his "base" where it counts.

I sincerely wonder how long it will take them to figure it out!

It said that anti-abortion protesters couldn't use bankruptcy to avoid paying fines or judgments for violence outside abortion clinics.

They knocked that down this time.
