I was in denial about Iran invasion - Until today.
Bush is kissing up to the world he once insulted with his "With us or against" us Bullshit. ANd the world is not just saying "No, FUCK YOU, you idiot."

U-S President Bush says NATO members are contributing to an important mission in Iraq.
He's in Belgium, where he met NATO leaders today.
After the alliance promised to help train Iraqi forces, Bush said every contribution helps.
Canada has confirmed it will send a contingent of 30 personnel to Jordan to train Iraqis.

And it's working.

Prime Minister Martin has taken a tougher stand on the issue of Iran's nuclear ambitions.
He has told NATO leaders in Brussels while diplomacy and dialogue remain a top priority, the world community must be prepared to stand behind its words with stronger measures.
The NATO meeting wrapped up today.

I see loud and clearly now, it's gonna happen, and Syria will join in the fight, along with any other nation feeling threatened, world war 3 is going to start in soon.

3. It really appears that there is no other out from it.
Even though the world has verbally called his bluff again and again..he just ups the threats...how else can it end?

9. Would You, as a Canadian, Help the U.S. if it did?
Ok hypothetical. Not the current situation.

As a Canadian, would you support the Canadian military helping the United States against a foe who attacked us? Lets say that some other country invaded the U.S., or they simply lobbed some a-bombs at us. Would you be all for helping us? Or would you be standoffish?

Remember I'm not talking about the current "Make War Not Love" policy of the current government. True we were attacked, but not by Iraq, nor Iran, nor North Korea. We were attacked by a radical terrorist organization, and so far we haven't captured the leader of this cult.

I'm talking about us being attacked by another country, ala Japan in WW2.

11. I can't speak for individuals, of course,
but Canada does have troops on the ground in Afghanistan.

...remember Afghanistan? Osama, Omar, and the gang?

7. I quote:
"If there is hope, wrote Winston, it lies in the proles.

If there was hope, it must lie in the proles, because only there in those swarming disregarded masses, 85 per cent of the population of Oceania, could the force to destroy the Party ever be generated. The Party could not be overthrown from within. Its enemies, if it had any enemies, had no way of coming together or even of identifying one another. Even if the legendary Brotherhood existed, as just possibly it might, it was inconceivable that its members could ever assemble in larger numbers than twos and threes. Rebellion meant a look in the eyes, an inflexion of the voice, at the most, an occasional whispered word. But the proles, if only they could somehow become conscious of their own strength, would have no need to conspire. They needed only to rise up and shake themselves like a horse shaking off flies. If they chose they could blow the Party to pieces tomorrow morning. Surely sooner or later it must occur to them to do it? And yet-! "

16. If he wants to go in, he'll go, alliance or no.
Hell, I bet he'd burn what's left of the bridges with the rest of the West if he felt like throwing a tantrum.

I can't wait for him to start refering to Canada as "Old North America"
