Why do African American NFL players put up with Rush? I have had
the misfortune of listening to Rush on a few occasions. Rare is the time when he hasn't made fun African Americans either through "code" or through outright rascist propaganda. Anyway, I guess I wonder why NFL players aren't raising a little bit of fuss about ESPN's decision to include Rush in a sports broadcasting team.

It certainly isn't about political views. But it is about a man who has risen to some degree of power in the media by, in part, making fun of a race of people. One would think that some outspoken players might make a comment or two about ESPN's decision.

1. Probably
. . . because they don't sit there and watch those shows. And, a lot of times, if you have a million billion dollars, you don't care . . .

4. They probably don't know who he is or
if they have heard of him they don't know about his comments. Most people don't listen to Rush.

5. They don't. They can do what fans did with Howard Cosell.
People just switched off the TV sound and turned to the radio for commentary. That was the end of him.

6. There may be 3 reasons
1. They really dont care
2. They are taking the high road, not baiting him. Let the asshole shoot his mouth off and himself in the foot. The track record for this one is good.
3. The retired black players who are leaders in the NFL players union are working as we speak behind the scenes organizing a response. With the season just beginning, everyones busy.

7. I don't know
but I e-mailed ESPN to complain and they didn't even reply. The bastards.

Michael Moore should be hired to provide some balance.
