Nominating Negroponte as intelligence czar
If there's another evidence that Bush doesn't care about this nation's security, this is it. If anyone knows how Negroponte is qualified for this job, please speak up.

is always the principle criteria in the appointments our fearless leader makes. Gross incompetence does not seem to matter. In fact, as the examples of Rumsfeld and Rice make clear, it seems to be an advantage.
