You guys ever feel like the maids in a house of unruly children (R)?
Sometimes I wonder if the only reason that this stupid country ever elects a Democratic Conrgess and President is to clean up the mess those little shit Republicans make after they're done with their power splurge.

Its like living in a house with bratty kids, when they get in trouble they'll get a time out while you clean the mess, only to act like a bunch of wild animals another day while tearing up everything in their path.

Think about all the times, Kennedy excluded, when a Dem was been elected.

FDR after Hoover and Coolidge (Economic turmiol)
Carter after Nixon (Scandal and Cover-up)
Clinton after Reagan and Bush I (BOTH OF THE ABOVE)

Its like the people of this country act like those nutured parents who have no control over their children, or an abused wife who fall for their abusive spouses sweet talking, giving them chance after chance after chance to change.

Its just depressing seeing things this way, why our party is stuck with clean up with zero recognition whatsoever from the public we try to hard to help.

1. To me it's more like most people are Republicans at heart and they want
total greed to work so bad that they try everything they can think of to screw over anyone that they can until it gets totally obvious that it don't work and they have to give up on it. Only then do they sit their greed aside momentarily and give caring about everyone a shot at gluing it all back together.

I'm 79 and I saw this pattern in the 30s. Yeah I know it don't give humanity much credit for having any sense or true compassion, but in truth do they? Sure there are exceptions on both sides where in some stick to total greed or the total liberal view which ever the case may be no matter how nonfunctional it may become. Yes, I believe that sometimes the liberal view gets carried away, too. Right now I'd say we are way overboard with greed.

2. Exactly how I felt about Clinton balancing the budget...
Reagan and Bush I both ran on a platform of fiscal sanity, then once in office, spent money like a common crack whore.

Clinton balanced the budget and routinely gets no credit for it.

Sheesh. Unruly children exactly!
