1. Ummm, it's a communist country
Under that premise, in theory, the workers are supposed to have more rights than the company. Not that they necessarilly do. But just a point.

2. Can I insert a "China" thing here..
I was dumbfounded yesterday when CNN had a dude on to tell us 10 things (or whatever) to do with our money (investments, etc., buying or not buying a home now, etc.). The last on the list was "Invest in China"----he was hyping that we dump our investment bucks in China. Wellll, that is exactly the type of shit the wealthy did back in the days of Ronnie and then Pappy Bush. They invested their ill-gotten bucks alright--but not in the US of A. And you can bet that that is what is happening now. We give them the huge tax break and that use it against American workers in order to get even bigger returns as we break the back of middle class workers. What a scam and what a message for CNN to run.

3. This is pretty damned ironic.
Workers can unionize at Walmart in repressive, communist China, but they can't unionize in freedom-loving, capitalist, USA. Thanks freepers.
