Cheney Daughter Also Rises -- at State Department
Tue Feb 15, 2005 08:31 AM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Elizabeth Cheney, the daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney, will become the second-ranking U.S. diplomat for the Middle East, the State Department said on Monday.
Cheney, who previously worked in the department's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs and left to work on her father's 2004 re-election campaign, will become the bureau's principal deputy assistant secretary of state.

This is the bureau's second ranking position and deputizes for the assistant secretary of state for near eastern affairs, the top U.S. diplomat for the Middle East.

State Department spokesman Richard Boucher told reporters Cheney would also serve as "coordinator for Broader Middle East and North Africa Initiatives" -- a U.S.-backed idea to try to spread democratic and economic reform in the region.

Amazing that she's qualified for this position, huh?

3. I don't know about Mary but the rest of them are so mean. Lynn Cheney
must be the nastiest woman alive.

Politics is tough and there were a lot of slams thrown around but the absolute worst was her calling John Kerry "not a good man" after the last debate. I will hate that woman forever after that.

6. Liz Cheney is just like her mom and dad ...
but even more SCARY because she's very attractive and spews her hatred and propaganda in a very palatable way. She's as blessed with spreading disinformation as those well groomed hacks from the American Enterprise Institute.

This woman will make a difference - support fulfillment of the RW agenda to transfer power to the Corporate Elite: Watch her in action and most would agree that she's a truly effective evil force ... a real piece of work.
