99 programs to be terminated
My stomach is literally churning. I'm too sick to respond.

Mods, there's more when you click the link, Major Reductions and Major Reforms. I thought it was really important for everybody to at least see this much of the list, all at once.

3. But there's money for Bush's abstinence program!

And IRAQ
And Corporate Welfare to companies that outsource

Damn, all of those people that worked those programs will be out of work too. Most are probably liberals, at least those that worked in the social programs.

AIDS/HIV in teens has increased under Bush but there is NO AIDS PREVENTION programs. He is letting these children die.

4. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise
Remember -- people are going to be pissed off that this stuff is cut -- and not just Democrats. Many people blindly voted GOP, having no clue about anything -- just following along in tradition or prejudice or branding. Let it hit them close to home.

Second, I feel for the people in the red states -- in fact, I'm in one right now -- but people in blue states can use this opportunity to get more involved in state and local governments. Think about it this way -- if you can collect and distribute money more locally, it can never get to George Bush's war machine. Local taxation means local control. It is still of my opinion that the GOP is bluffing, and, that to carry out the social engineering that they wish to foist upon America, as well as spend 600 billion on the military -- they need federal taxes. I think we should call their bluff and lobby to keep our money in our communities -- something that the GOP CLAIMS they stand for.

I would say, in addition, hold your senators and reps accountable for questionable pork projects tha benefit businesses, while all of this shit is getting cut. Even some things that seem OK like certain facilities upgrades, etc., can be a bone that's thrown when something much more useful and important is getting cut.

5. EVEN START is a BAR BUSH program, too
Wow, fucking over his own mamma...she was so proud of that, too. It helped immigrant kids with english language skills in a head start format, and at the same time, helped their PARENTS to learn to read, write, and improve speaking skills so that the parents could help the kids with their schoolwork and do a better job interacting with teachers at parent teacher meetings, and so forth.

Just shows me that he has completely gone to hell in a handbasket, and he's HAPPY there. You don't screw with your OWN MAMMA's program! At least not while she lives! How tacky!

It will be interesting to see how the good folks of greater Waco, er, Crawford, react to some of these cuts. I see a few that look like they might affect them....

The whole list is outrageous. Nothing like cutting the important stuff, and leaving the pork intact. What a bum!
