Coach Accused Of Paddling Boys After Team Lost Game
snip>
The alleged corporal punishment came to light after several of the boys told their parents. A school nurse told police she examined every boy on the team and 11 of the 12 players had bruises, welts or swelling on their buttocks the day after the paddling.

Lake County prosecutors said Williamson was upset about his Melton Elementary School team losing badly in a Nov. 16 game. The next day, he allegedly brought a duct-tape wrapped wooden paddle to practice, according to the affidavit.

He held the paddle in his hand and as each player stepped to the free throw line, he asked them "Why did I lose?" the affidavit said.
"I'm going to motivate you all," Williamson reportedly told the boys. "Shoot free throws and for every one you miss, you're getting beat."
...
"I am not teaching no ladies," the affidavit said Williamson told her. "I am showing them how to be men. I put the paddle to them for losing."

Speechless. As the General writes, this is reminiscent of "the same motivational methods used by Iraqi National Soccer Team coaches for so many years".

5. Republicans & christians beat the crap out of their kids.
Limbaugh was beat as a kid by his father. Savage says he was raised on hate, anger and neglect.

Today, these right wingers are consumed with anger. Limbaugh's dealt with eating/drug addictions...he also lies.

They are sick people.

4. Who was coaching, Michael Jackson?
Jeeez, that is one sick fucker! I don't think the "motivation" was intended for the boys...someone needs to execute a search warrant on that perv's house--would that they had the probable cause....

6. My God , I've stepped back in time to middle school 1968 and Coach
Chet Berg****ski. He was a sadistic homophobe who loved to humiliate non-athletes during our mandatory PE classes, especially awkward gayboys like me.

May he, and this coach, both be consigned to the deepest, darkest, hottest, nastiest corner of Hell.

7. Corporal punishment is allowed in many school districts

The Dallas school board has revised its corporal punishment policy but has stopped short of fully prohibiting the practice of paddling. Instead, parents will have to request in writing that their children be disciplined by paddling . In addition, other disciplinary methods will have to be used before resorting to paddling, including community service, parent observation in class, and contracting with parents to restrict home privileges. Responding to a board request for data on injuries resulting from corporal punishment, Superintendent Mike Moses reported that, of 332 reported cases, 51 allegedly resulted in injuries, of which 12 were substantiated. Board member Ken Zornes, who sought an outright ban, questioned whether parent requests would be public documents or subject to privacy protection. Member Lew Blackburn, who opposed the revisions, cast doubt on some of the disciplinary alternatives. “How are we going to tell parents what to do at home?” he asked.
