the FLU spreads more, increasing across America (CDC web map - FLU report)
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 12:06 AM by diamond14

bush* FAILED to deliver enough FLU vaccine, on time....so now, ALL AMERICANS must pay (perhaps with their LIVES) for this major bush* failure to protect our citizens..... which brings up the question: is the bush* cabal really able to protect America from bioterrorism? or is that just another bush* Public Relations Scam? Notice the BIG SCAM: on the entire CDC web site, there are NO NUMBERS for the American KILLED BY THE FLU this season...NONE...all the NUMBERS KILLED have been deliberately omitted....just statistical spin...no real numbers...that's bush*...waffling Americans with anything but the numbers.....

--------------------------------------

Synopsis:

During week 4 (January 23-29, 2005)*, influenza activity continued to increase in the United States. Four hundred seventy-four (15.9%) specimens tested by U.S. World Health Organization (WHO) and National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS) collaborating laboratories were positive for influenza viruses. The proportion of patient visits to sentinel providers for influenza-like illness (ILI) is above the national baseline and the proportion of deaths attributed to pneumonia and influenza is below the epidemic threshold. There have been four influenza-associated pediatric deaths reported to CDC this season. Sixteen states reported widespread influenza activity, 19 states and New York City reported regional influenza activity, and 9 states and the District of Columbia reported local activity. Five states and Puerto Rico reported sporadic influenza activity.

----------------------------------------------------

Center for Disease Control (CDC)...their JOB is to tell us the actual NUMBER of Americans KILLED by the FLU (which is MISSING entirely from their web site, to protect bush* from his own failures)...
