Know what's scary? I read the Qadaffi interview in TIME...
and he actually sounds far more rational and reasonable than anything I've heard from Bush or this administration. It made a hell of a lot more sense than any bullshit Dumbass has said. Hell, I almost liked him by the end. It's saying a lot when third world despots make more sense than our government.

1. He must be taking ritalin
if he sounds better than Bush. He used to be as bad or worse than Bush. He kinda reminds me of a modern day equivalent of Mussolini when it comes to dictators.

2. He's improved quite a bit over the years
He's on fairly good behavior now and doesn't seem like the Qadaffi of the 80's. I don't believe him when he says at the end that "Libyans are living in a paradise", but he's definately not as bad as he used to be now. I'd almost take him over Bush in fact, and that's the really scary part!

That was one scary interview.

What do Libyans tell you?

If you put them in paradise, they will still complain. (Laughs.) Libyans are in paradise.

5. Elections? We don't need no stinking elections!
Given foreign and local skepticism, is Libya Really reforming itself?

About the economy, quite possible. We have begun to apply the Green Book. It's what we call popular socialism and what Thatcher calls popular capitalism. Elections? What for? We have surpassed that stage you are presently in. All the people are in power now. Do you want them to regress and elect somebody to replace them?

Remember he was dealing with Reagan and we had bombed his home and killed his daughter?

6. I remember that little event
I also recall a French journalist recording by accident the miraculous return from the grave of the dead daughter. At best he is a very strange man who roams the lands with his raybans and amazon bodyguards.
