Anybody listen to Scott Ritter on Randi Rhodes today?
Edited on Mon Jan-31-05 08:37 PM by Cleita
He spoke about why Mess o'potamia is a disaster today. Randi played an interview he did two years ago where he predicted everything that came to be today if we invaded Iraq. He also said something interesting. He is a registered Republican, but he said he was an American first.

Then he spoke about the PNAC plans to rule the world I guess wherever it would suit American interests meaning countries with rich resources we could steal. He definitely considers the government of Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz and company corrupt an unAmerican. Why can't the Kool-Aid drinking freepers start realizing that they are Americans first too, not tools of propaganda machine from the White House?

2. Ritter
He is always very compelling when he speaks. Maybe its the military background. But hearing him now, after having read his testimony before the Senate in 1998, I am confused.

Someone please clear this up for me!

Thanks!

6. I agree. What's so confusing? Facts change over time. Inspectors
were in Iraq pre-invasion and they weren't coming up with anything. The US was supposedly feeding them prime locations and there wasn't anything there.

into an illegal war. What's so confusing about that?

The lying Bush scum weren't in office in 1998. Use that fact as a guideline.

8. I agree - he was AWESOME!
even after all he's been through - he was still furious at Bush for invading Iraq.

He made me really see what a sham the elections were. He said "they don't CARE about the Iraqis. They are there TO STAY."

I believe him.

also be a military base. How strange is that?

13. Why?
Why do they keep drinking the Kool-Aid? Because Fox News, CNN and the rest of the mainstream media tell them everything is hunky dory in Iraq and we rescued them from Saddam out of the generosity of our American Christian hearts. If somebody reports bad news in Iraq, they are doing it through the evil filter.

14. I'm nuts about the guy
If BushCo won't listen to him, they won't listen to anyone.

Anarchy1999 missed the shot where I kissed him on the cheek. And he was hiding his beer in this photo. He must be planning to run for office. :)
