3. I voted for
"Iraq limped through election day amidst several deadly incidents" but I'm in Canada where the US Media and Govt. has less and less influence by the day.

5. They will focus on the legitimacy issue, as was done here.
Words like "landmark" and "fledgeling democracy" will be used.
Specifics will be avoided, other than some staged events.
Only much later will the results trickle out.

(large being more than 500), "The Iraqi people gave their support at the polls..." (support being anyone who wasn't killed) "... for Iyad Allawi..." (the only 'candidate' to have unfetterred access to Iraqi media) "... and have established a new Democracy in Iraq." (Democracy being the puppet government we need.)
