They had that sticker all over their stupid ugly van along with Pro Bush stickers all over.

On the back glass it had painted "Do you know where you are going to spend eternity?" along with a 800 number.

Could not resist calling it and told them the one thing I knew was that I probably was not going to have to spend it with you right wingers because if you did'nt change your ways you were going to end up in hell.

Thanks for the number, this left wing liberal Christian plans on making it to those pearly gates I have always heard about. Goodby.

if I remember right. Think I saw them for sale on the same site that had rubber sandals with Kerry's picture on them -- designed to clap together in the front row at any Democratic gathering, apparently. I kept thinking about those sandal-flappers when the Rethugs were demanding loyalty oaths to get anywhere near the Anointed.

12. Shows how effective the right wing noise machine is

Jane Fonda has not been signficant politically for a long time. The right wing media manages to keep their followers inflamed over issues such as her going to Hanoi decades afterwards, and tie this into opposition to Kerry, who had nothing to do with her Hanoi trip.

Also, recall during the election how they spread faked pictures of Fonda with Kerry. They never took any heat for this intentional deception. Compare this to the Rather memos. While a mistake, it was unintentional (and the information was even valid even if forged memos should never be used). That led to Bush getting off the hook as the forged memos became a bigger issue than the real issue of Bush being AWOL.

13. My neighbor watches Faux and was tut-tutting about

Mary Jo Kopechne, on and on about how untrustworthy the Kennedys are (I hadn't noticed there was a Kennedy running in this past election, but I don't get out much).

I asked if she knew Laura Bush had been the driver in an accident that killed a guy and she looked at me as though I had three heads and said she was sure nothing like that had ever happened or she would have heard about it.

Not on Fox, she wouldn't have.

I really think the forged copies of the real AWOL memos was a masterstroke on Karl's part. Rather had been on the Bush Dynasty hit list for a long time, and Karl just covered himself with glory on that one.
