Time Mag. Person of the Year narrowed to Rove, Bush, Gibson, Nancy Reagan
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/262920p-225079c.html

Psssst!: I hear that Time mag has narrowed down its Person of the Year choice - to be announced Sunday - to Mel Gibson, Nancy Reagan, President Bush, Karl Rove or the 9/11 Commission.

Wonderful choices there! :puke: :puke: :puke:

1. I haven't believed in their choices for years!
I even dropped my subscription because of their choice, Now I can't remember who it was, but still most of their choices suck.
It should be the arrogant person of the year title.

11. I vote for the faceless 'Insurgents' in Iraq, as man of the year.

They are proving to be far more formidable than anticipated, and will make this war bloodier and costlier to a war of wills and pocket books. Will America go broke fighting for someone elses Democracy?

Rove, nothing new, he is slime and realy it was the Ohio secratary Blackwell, that delivered the election on a silver plater.

Bush, pfft, the guy is still just a two bit Texan brat politician(punk).

Nancy, just leave her be.

12. it OUGHT to be rove
given their stated criteria. It isn't supposed to be the most admirable or most honorable person of the year. It is supposed to be the most influential, for good or for evil.

rove is the architect of events that will fuck the world for decades. of course he was the most influential of the year.

18. The person of the year should be Kenneth Blackwell...
Time says the Person of the Year is the person who most changed the course of history, for good or evil.

For his part in rigging the 2004 election and assuring the world of another four years of Bush, Kenneth Blackwell is the only acceptable choice.

20. I don't think it's necessarily an honor
I might be wrong here, but I always thought it was given to the person who had the most influence over the past year, good or bad. I'm pretty sure they considered Osama in 2001, and probably considered Hitler way back.
