I have a question about Sinclair video - how it got stopped
are you the people behind it? i didn't post here back then - never even heard of the place, but from what i pick up on, the reason it was stopped from being aired was done similarly to what's being done now about Election Fraud?

1. I know we wrote a lot of letters...
...and helped.

I don't know how much it was stopped. I remember reading posts here on election eve and I think on Election Day that "Stolen Honor" was showing unexpectedly in many areas. Does anybody else remember all those posts?

Faye,
You also have groups like this making a difference. From an e-mail I received today.

After an extremely disappointing election, many people are asking what they can do to make this country better. With minority status in all three branches of the federal government, many progressives feel powerless.

We found a fundamental truth during the Sinclair boycott: pressuring the advertisers works. It stopped Sinclair.

But it was temporary. With the pressure removed, Sinclair has recently announced that it plans on airing more controversial broadcasts. According to CEO David Smith in a recent interview with Variety,

"'POW Story' was the first broadcast of its kind produced by Sinclair's centralized news operation, which pumps out news and commentary to Sinclair stations across the country.

But Smith said the news arm demonstrated an ability to generate good content and higher revenues, and 'we expect to exploit that to the fullest on an ongoing basis.' "

We need to keep a strong coalition, keep organized, and keep the pressure on.

ps. In the coming weeks, stay tuned for a new boycott effort against Sinclair's "news" programming.
