Snow: No Need to Cut War Spending
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20041116/pl_nm/us_britain_snow_dc

Is anyone else troubled by this. "The war in Iraq is not something that will require year-after-year funding." Who is he kidding. As long as money is pumped into Iraq to get us out, the U.S. will be paying to continue this folly. The president understands that the deficit is large and plans to do something about it? He can't even spell potato, oops, my bad, I'm getting my ignorant republicans mixed up.

2. Ok, well, see ... this is how it works
As long as there's more money being pumped into the war, it is being propped into the market that feeds off of it. Of course, it was a protracted guerilla war like this that broke the Soviet Union... now they're using it to break us.

5. Absolutely True
I have made the same analogy many times, we pumped money and arms into Afghanistan in support of the Mujahideen which ultimately defeated the militarily superior Soviet Union. The table has turned and we best learn this lesson from history.

6. What? and cut out welfare to the Defense contractor?
Defense contractors like Halliburton need wars. Hell bushie has a hit list of countries -- he just needs a draft. Plus he doesn't need to fully equip, feed and supply the troops -- families can have bake sales to pay for body armor, communication devices and basic needs. What a deal!

As long as the bush mafia is in charge -- we can count on more wars. How else will Americans learn geography?
