What is there about BushCo that leads you to that conclusion?
I'd love to hear it because as far as I can tell there is no limit to what they will try in order to placate their fundie base.
Do you really buy the media crap about Bush's concern with the GOP after he leaves the White House? It's a lie, Pep, just another media lie made up by people who choose not to see the nose in front of their face.
Bush will do whatever he wants to and who is there to tell him no?
5. Yes I will march -- they have to be stopped somewhere
or they will come after the next group on their list.
Gays are the new blacks -- when will be see them marked and/or on auction blocks to be sold off as slaves. Some Christian Reconstructionists want a return to biblical slavery -- after all slavery is mentioned in the bible.
We've already seen gays tormented, murdered and now we see to so called "christians" (little "c") attempting to get hate legislation through congress. This also reminds of of the laws passed against Native Americans -- that is a damned crappy part of American history.
This movement has to be stopped now. I have marched with my gay brothers and sisters and will do so again. Straight woman for Gay Marriage here. This is absolutely a civil rights issue.
I will be there, marching against it. For all that it's worth. I will not let them try to write discrimination and hate into OUR constitution, which is for all of us.
It wasn't very many years ago one of our local city governments wanted to pass a bond issue. It was sure to be a problem getting voter approval. After contemplating various proposals, the city hired a consultant and was informed to mount NO campaign and for proponents to cease discussing it.
Sure enough, opposition failed to be prompted a promotional blitz and the bond issue passed easily.
