Confederate States = WELFARE STATES
My dad told me:

Did you know W carried the 11 Confederate states by 5 million. Which means he actually lost the popular vote in the rest of the country by 1.5 million. The 11 Confederate states are on Federal welfare, IE. they get more from the federal government than they pay. The blue states pay the bill.

TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION! Since the GOP are always whining about taxes isn't it about time somebody in the "media" points out that they are sponging off us blue states?

Remember: Blue Mony RULES. Red States have less expendible income. When you spend it, keep it BLUE! I'm getting that bumper sticker that says "RED? I DON'T BUY IT." In this way we can cut into the GOP power base. PASS IT ON!

1. Yep, per our earlier conversation
I will be doing all of my shopping locally. It might cost me a little bit more money going to the small business's downtown but I know which ones were Kerry supporters. I live in a blue state and intend to keep my money in my state, locally.

3. excellent new phrase...
We should all refer to the South as the "Welfare States." Instead of saying, "Bush is doing very well in the South" or "Will Kerry be able to make a dent in the South" we should say, "Bush is doing very well in the Welfare States," and so on.

Never let the phrase "the South" came from our mouths again--only "Welfare States."

5. Excellent suggestion.
An entire theme could be developed around this phrase.

The Republican Welfare Queens in Congress representing the people of the Republican Welfare States need to realize that government is not free. Someday, somewhere, someone in the republican party needs to stand up and tell the people in the Republican Welfare States that government costs money. Good government costs money and bad government costs money. And supporting the Republican Welfare States costs the entire country too much money. The Republican Welfare States need to wean themselves from the government teat and learn to support themselves.

6. Welfare States not "red" states. I like it.
It's time we start framing and naming the issues!
