Poll question: Election: Stolen or fair?
Given that everyone thought Kerry would win for sure, even the exit polls, even Tony Blair, even the stock market traders, even the pundits on TV, even the Freepers...and all of a sudden, out of the blue Bush won by 3 points nationally...

3. with Ms Edwards and Chris Heinz threads thriving at
it will be months if not years before this issue takes hold at least in my county

Polls need to be setup and engineered so they get atleast 1-2,000 votes at DU

There should be a revamped way of getting reactions to postings

I don't know about you. With all the data and stories coming out...good lord. Once was enough. The second time was in our face. Now a third and I guess you've just blocked it out.

6. As long as Republicans control the machines
and as long as Republicans have a say in who can or can't vote, and as long as Republicans count the ballots - elections will never be fair.

7. It is just stating the obvious, isn't it?
But people want to believe elections are fair, they want to have "faith" in the system, and so they do.

8. the ends justify the means for republicans
until that gets through the general publics thick skulls I don't know how will get this country heading back in the correct direction.

for the '06 election (if it happens) use paper ballots, hand counted with an audience as witness.
