*Bush wasting no time telling more lies
Edited on Thu Nov-04-04 07:05 PM by LTRS
From the WaPo:

"It's like earning capital," he added. "I earned capital in the campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it. . . . I 'm going to spend it for what I told the people I'd spend it on, which is . . . Social Security and tax reform , moving this economy forward, education, fighting and winning the war on terror."

Damn, was I unconcious during the campaign, because I could have sworn the cowardly chimp ran from discussing domestic issues like a cockroach runs from the light. In fact, didn't he avoid talking about "social security reform" (AKA doing away with it) as much as possible.

All I remember him saying was that Kerry was trying to scare voters by telling them Bush was going to privatize it, and basically deny that he was going to do anything such thing.

And of course it took him all of 2 days to flip flop on that, now didn't it? Honestly, wouldn't break my heart if he bankrupted the idiots who voted for him. Just too bad the rest of us have to go down with them.

1. Capital
Bush made a point to say he will spend "capital" earned in this election. And he made an unusual addition to this statement by saying he'd earned capital in the 2000 election. Huh?

2. Important that we let them know
the minute Shrub tinkers with Social Security. That would get the little old ladies riled, as well as all of us Boomers.

4. his "political capital" or "mandate" came from extreme right-wing fundies
and ignorant morons who are too stupid to figure out that they've been manipulated.

Bush has NO mandate from the American people. He can go f!@#$ himself.

5. I guess we weren't invited ...
... to his little get togethers. I liked how today he talked about sheeple on the campaign trail responding positively to his message ... he didn't freakin' talk to anyone opposed to his tyrannic / messianic rantings. :wtf:
