One Enjoyable Aspect of What Has Happened
At least there is one enjoyable aspect of what has happened. Now, we get to sit back and watch Bush step on his dick - and make no mistake about it, he will. And Cheney. And Ashcroft. And Rice. All of them.

I just hope it doesn't affect too many people in this country but I am afraid it will.

4. Elliot Spitzer
Since we don't have any congressional oversight, the blue states may need to investigate - if that is at all possible. I don't think it is, but he may get some press.

Let's hope Plame indictments come down soon to get the new administration off to a bad start. My only fear is that Bush or Cheney will be cut loose and then we will have to face an incumbent again in 4 years.

6. There won't be any criticism of Bush.
And there certainly won't be any schism between the fiscal conservatives and the religious conservatives. They still own the media, they still own the government.

When the bill comes due, they'll blame Goldstein- er- Clinton. This country is so stupid and hateful, they'll buy it.

8. We'll be the only ones who notice
Unless we hammer the media with our full force. MoveOn's next protest needs to be in front of CNN, the WP, and the NYT. Otherwise it is fighting the wrong opponent.
