1. Wave of Inspiration
I teach in Philadelphia and live in the suburbs. There is a rumbling of political activity occurring everywhere here. We know this is battleground state central and everyone is getting swept up in the fervor of it all. It's an exciting feeling. This has been a grassroots campaign unlike one that has ever been seen before. Organizations are reaching out, Democrats are coming from states far and wide to canvass our neighborhoods, and people just having the natural instinct to just get up off of their asses to get involved. This is a time of revolution in our political consciousness, and I'm proud to be fighting the battle in the place where our nation was born. Let's follow the flow of this wave of inspiration to victory on November 2.

2. October Suprise
It was quite a surprise to see Osama bin Laden looking tan, rested and ready rather than Team Bush unveiling him on Fox chained to a wall.

But my October surprise I had was when I went door to door in my neighborhood with fellow Democrats. I live in Prospect Park which has been a Republican stronghold in the suburbs of Philadelphia for decades. I was excited to find out that the majority of my neighbors were voting for Kerry. It’s made me feel energized and optimistic about the coming showdown on Tuesday.
