I don't want to see bin Laden dead.
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 10:00 PM by higher class
I want him to live so that I will eventually know whether:

He was surprised to learn that what he headed was being called al Queda.

And whether:

He didn't fund or orchestrate 9-11, but allowed us to think he did.

He was a partner with operatives of a couple of countries to take the blame for 9-11.

He accepted his role as the ace of aces on a pack of cards.

He thought the money he was paid to stay out of sight and the father of fear and terror was acceptable.

Whether he knew we were going to go after Iraq instead of him.

And whether:

He kinda liked being the center of attention and was bored when he wasn't.

Whether:

He knew he was close to getting seen early on by those trail climbers and trekkers.

He kept a diary of his contacts with representatives of the U.S. and the deals that were made.

And whether:

He will write an autobiography.

Most of all, if he really led it and he really worked to get those volunteers trained well enough to stear their aircraft into those buildings - would he have not done it had the Palestinians been given their own state and allowed to live peacefully, in other words, would he have dropped some of his demands if Palestinians would have given a chance. Or if he would have also required that the U.S. move their bases out of Saudi Arabia.

Irreverent? If yes, of whom?

2. I think
Osama bin Laden was perhaps the most surprised person on earth to find he was suddenly the leader and 'mastermind' of something that happened half a world away.

But hey, if you're going to go down in history...and even put on T-shirts sold across the ME...go with the flow, if it gets the point across, right?

Being a figurehead can be interesting after all.

3. I think he's in Saudi Arabia. His family is hiding him. His former
sister-in-law said that the family reveres him because of his convictions and their protestations contrary are a lie. Where
else can he get the kind of care that brought him out of his
sickness than at home, in his family's care, with the support
of doctors, etc. of like conviction?

4. I agree we should have our questions answered but I think the fair
solution for the victims of the First WTC bombing, the bajinka plot (sp?),the Cole bombing and the latest WTC bombing is have Osama Bin Laden executed by lethal injection.

7. We don't know which is going to come first -
proof that he 'masterminded' it or
proof that someone else 'masterminded' it.

But, if there is enough to convict - we must have a trial by all means - but do you know how long it took for a trial for Pan Am 103?

We could have a peace treaty before we could get a trial - though the good people of this earth deserve both.

I want to see a lot of depositions. I want it before all the players pass away.

8. couldn't we just

call it a draw? Our country has already killed over 10,000 iraqis and I don't know how many afghans. Isn't it enough? How many people have to die to equal 3000 americans?

If Bush doesn't get prosecuted for his crimes, I don't think Osama should either.
