But that is probably the mentality behind it. It is the mentality of Slaves, not Free People.

It is the same reason so many things, such as the Plame Indictments of Cheney's staff or the CBS story on the Nigeria foregries, are being held up until after the "election".

In other words, if Bunnypants* was caught red-handed murdering someone, it would be suppressed until "after the election" because it wouldn't be appropriate to unduly influence the "election" by letting people know their Emperor is an murder.

21. I thought of that this morning.. the smokescreen.

The media is happily blathering, as are Bush and Cheney, about the gay daughter thing.. while 20 of our troops have been killed in the past four days.

But... why would the MEDIA want to focus on that? I've noticed that, since repub convention, the nat'l media rarely comments on our troop deaths. Local papers runs stories, but the national media barely mentions it. Often, sadly, our troop deaths are buried into a story about something else..
