Sinclair
Here is the letter I'm emailing to Sinclair advertisers. I'm posting it because I know at lot of people are really busy (I on the other hand have no life :) ) Please feel free to copy any or all of my letter just as long as you email it on to the sponsors. Any one else want to post their letters for this reason, please do.

Dear Advertiser,

I am writing you to express my sincere concern regarding a broadcast company that you sponsor through your advertising. This company is Sinclair Broadcasting.

By now I am sure you have heard that this company is forcing its networks to carry a propaganda film. This film is NOT factual. It is pure propaganda benefiting one party in the presidential election, the Republican Party.

Sinclair Broadcasting has a well-documented history of supporting this party. For example, Sinclair’s CEO, David Smith, has donated the maximum amount of money allowed to Bush/Cheney 2004. In addition, Sinclair’s Vice President, Frederick Smith, donated $175,000 to the RNC and the maximum to Bush/Cheney 2004. All this information is available both through the DNC and the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

This is also the “news” organization that refused to air a tribute to those troops who died serving their country. I am sure you do not wish to give the impression that your company also does not support our fallen heroes.

In an election as important to the future of this country as this presidential election, the outcome should be based on real information and the opinion of voters, not the opinion of one organization.

Because of the information contained in this letter and many more examples, I am asking you to withdraw your support, as an advertiser, of Sinclair Broadcasting.

I do not wish to make threats about a boycott of your products or protest at your places of business. However, I believe that you must act to show your support of our troops, our elections, and our Constitution. Act in the best interest of this country and your business. Send a message that an unfair influence of this election will not be tolerated!

I hope that this letter will help you to understand the importance of your actions. However, if you refuse to put partisan politics aside, I am afraid that a boycott and protest at your place of business will be our only resort. Please act before we must.

Sincerely,

2. pretty good, but imight add
that sinclar attacks dems constantly and mention some of the smears

an advertiser not in-the-know might read your letter and think 'so they support republicans'-isn't this a free country?" i would focus on the lack of objectivity as journalists, misuse of the airwaves, and all-around nastiness and unfairness of the company a bit more

otherwise, a great first start...just adding my two cents
