Here's the New York Times peddling it today and Perle was on Charlie Rose peddling this story.

1. Yep. Saddam decieved us into believing he had what
he didnt have. Its not our fault that our intel was wrong and that we skimmed over the parts that didnt support our preconcieved views.

Will this administration ever take responsibility for anything????

4. Not his ass
He's trying to get Edwards wallet from his jacket pocket. Cheney did mention that Edwards didn't pay his fair share of taxes, and he's just trying to look out for the little people(heavy sarcasm).

6. Out of respect for the Vice President
Edwards "plays along" with Cheney's little pass. And Cheney said JE couldn't be a diplomat!!

8. Hey!, What the hell is Cheney going for in that picture?
A reach around?

Never met Edwards before? Hmph! Typical rough trade denials!

What a cad.

5. this is good news
The measure of their flailing desperation is directly proportional to the brazen surrealistic audacity of their claims.

It has about as much chance of sticking as grease on a doorknob.

Love it.

7. Unforgivable
That is soooo going on Saddam's Permanent Record.

And add to Dubya's list of crimes, the Total Destruction of Irony and Satire.

9. If that's the new "talking point", they really are getting desperate
I mean, that's really plumbing the depths of lame-osity in a way that we were actually joking about on DU back in 2003.

14. It demonstrates what I said all along
Saddam made the Bushes look like idiots many times...not the least of which was Scwartzkopf leaving him his helicopters...they took him out for personal reasons alone...he made them look stupid...that entire family is not exactly the brain trust..and the header wasn't meant in humor but to demonstrate to people the next scare tactic

11. While
it may be Saddam's fault he didn't have WMD, it still remains the Bush* misadministration's fault that the US invaded Iraq. UN weapons inspectors were not finding WMDs, and France, among others was seeking more time for inspections.

It was the Bushies who said the US couldn't wait, and rushed an invasion on lies.

Saddam's lies didn't kill anyone. Bush's lies have killed thousands.

12. DON'T shoot a poker player for saying he has a good hand.
Saddam used the oldest trick in the book and Re-stupidicons were fooled, or so they say. These re-stupidasfoxicons erred here in the manner which makes themselves the most personal wealth, while killing mostly un-rich Americans along side a bunch of foreigners.

15. Uh...
No fucking shit. Saddam didn't have any WMDs, so he's responsible for not having them. That's just brilliant. I wish chronic diarrhea on the entire bush clan.
