5. Republican Noise Machine

I just saw Outfoxed, and now I'm reading David Brock's "The Republican Noise Machine". Just in the 40 pages I've read so far, Brock makes the case that there has been a systematic right-wing takeover of the media over the last 30 years, or so. It's much too complicated to encapsulate in a couple of sentences, so I'll just say it's a worthy read.

Regardless of Brock's sullied past, I highly recommend that people suspend their judgment of the man and read his message - he was in the bowels of this operation.

6. That book is awesome

The stuff he writes about the conservative 'think tanks' has really made me notice how much their biased information is cited by supposedly mainstream writers and reporters. I really look at news a lot more critically now.
